Have you ever considered that you are psychic?
It’s often thought that psychics have unusual and special powers. In fact, there is such a mystique surrounding “the psychic dimension” that many people are willing to suspend their own opinions and decisions for the insights of The Psychic. While valuable material can be brought forth by a talented psychic reader, using your own inner mind for healing stress is a powerful use of your psychic power. If that sounds too far out, consider this: Everyone has intuitive ability that can be developed, accessed and applied for managing stress and solving problems in everyday life.
A while ago I received a card from a woman who had learned how to explore her psychic nature in one of my stress management groups. In her note she told me that she’d been using her intuitive/psychic ability to keep herself hassle-free in situations that usually aggravated her. She would picture herself peaceful and relaxed, even among crowds or waiting on line. And this was working, she told me. She was making her life better using her own psychic powers.
You are Psychic.
Opening the door to your psychic ability can be as simple as sitting in a rocking chair and staring off into space! For what seems to be a mysteriously unique gift is really rather ordinary. All you have to do is to relax by doing something you enjoy doing or enjoy merely sitting still and allowing your mind to go where it goes, as you notice your mental/emotional images and sensations. When your mind is free to float in this way, interference from the busyness and distress of the outer world can recede into the background, allowing intuitive wisdom to come forward.
Give it a Try.
To tune into the psychic dimension of your mind, begin by sitting or lying down in a pleasant spot where you feel comfortable. Next, let your mind wander, allowing thoughts, feelings and pictures to come and go. You have no need to hold these ideas and images or to push them away. Just notice them lightly, seeing what arises in the mind. If problems come to mind, you can make a memory note to consider solutions later or now very gently, rehearsing potential outcomes on your inner mental screen. You can suggest to yourself that whatever insights or information is required to solve your problems will come to you during this quiet time, or possibly later when other thoughts or pictures spontaneously come to mind.
In this way you can become your own psychic. Practicing this exercise every day, or any time you feel fatigued, worried or confused will open access to inner wisdom and help restore feelings of well-being and peace. Experts agree, quiet time spent in the intuitive mind can calm your nerves and improve your health. You can learn to use the energy and wisdom of your personal intuitive insights to reduce stress, solve your problems and improve the quality of your life.
